By allowing reactions and interactions with the wet poured paints, each painting is an exploration of the paints. I do not control all of the aspects of their interactions; the paints respond naturally. During the wet stage, I watch the magic happen. The paints physically transform, expand, move, mix and merge into a dried, fixed final image; similar to the phenomenon of photographic print being developed.
Every painting is a new experiment. My paintings will always be evolving by focusing on the individual characteristics of each material. All of the materials live together as a whole; yet do not detract from the beauty of each individual one.
